Kari Rauh Hung is a holistic workforce development consultant and coach committed to connecting individuals and communities to resources that promote holistic development and wellbeing. She has a special passion for working with students at the outset of their careers and individuals who are forced to change career direction due to changing life situations or injury. 

In her work as a career coach, she loves working with individuals to leverage their unique aptitudes, strengths, values and gifts to serve others and be rewarded by the market.  As a consultant, she enjoys working with teams to maximize and leverage the strengths of each member and accomplish more collectively than they could individually. She has worked as an organizational consultant and workforce development practitioner for more than a decade and as a coach since 2022.

Previously, Kari served as the Visiting Assistant Director for Workforce Development at the University of Illinois System, where she executed strategic workforce and economic development initiatives across the state.​ She also served as the Director of Workforce Solutions at the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council, where she developed and executed best practice strategies from the US Chamber of Commerce to advanced efforts to develop, attract and retain a skilled workforce in a five-county region.  Her most meaningful contribution to date has been co-leading CareerSpark, a series of career exploration events for 8th graders and high schoolers that served 15,000+ students in the region during her tenure.​

Kari earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Theology, and Gender studies from Wheaton College and a diploma in clinical massage therapy from Cortiva Institute. . She is pursuing her masters degree in counseling.
